Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa!
Or if you don’t celebrate, Happy Winter Break! Woo hoo! Three weeks of relaxation and chilling. We all need it. Despite the fact that our last break was only three weeks ago, I still need a brain break. I’m also really excited for this upcoming New Year as well, 2022! Yes! I’m not a ‘big goal oriented’ person, I may seem like it but I certainly am not able to keep track of those goals. I do try but the whole ‘Resolutions’ thing just doesn’t suit me, I’m pretty sure plenty of Middle Schoolers get what I mean. (Yeah, I see you.) But this year has certainly been eventful, not as eventful as 2020 but it was still eventful. We got a new president, there’s a new variant happening in the UK currently and kids ages 5-11 are able to receive the Covid-19 vaccine. So some ups and downs but we made it! I don’t have much to say about the upcoming year, I don’t want to get my hopes up too high. I’ve learned about having too high expectations in 2020 and I will not repeat that mistake again. I’ll simply just wish for the best. As well as hope and pray for a better year, who knows, maybe in 2022 will have its unforgettable memories as well. As always, take care and have a splendid Winter Break! Be sure to keep up with your Spirit Day Calendars, only two more days until break!
