![]() If you know anything about me then you should know that I love to read, talk about books, and recommend books to others. That mostly is because in fourth grade Mrs Biggert showed us how wonderful reading can be and had everyone non stop reading by the end of the year. Thank you for that Mrs Biggert. So I want to share some books that your peers love and hopefully you will pick one up during the weekend and have a great time. First I asked Ethan Carrera, he said,”My favorite book is The Alchemist by Micheal Scott. The Alchemist is my favorite book because it is a book really similar to Harry Potter. The book focuses on Nicolas Flamel and twins Josh and Sophie Newman. They didn’t know it at the time but they are “The Twins of Legend.” Their purpose is to stop the dark elders from taking over the world and enslaving all mortals. The book includes going through different realms, meeting monsters, and other evil magicians such as Doctor John Dee (who is the main villain of the story.” Then I asked Camila Gonzalez and she said her favorite book was Twilight. When I asked her why she stated,”I like how chessy it is. Also because I like the whole vampire and wolves thing.” Finally Leila Ku said, ”My fav book is To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before because the characters are so cute and the main character is Korean.” All of these books sound amazing and I definitely recommend picking one up! My favorite book is The Invisible Life Of Addie Larue. The story follows Adeline Larue, a girl who makes a deal with the devil for freedom to live her life, but the catch is that no one will remember her. Once she is out of sight from someone they completely forget who she is. But it all changes when 300 years later she meets a boy in New York who remembers her name. This book has some of the most beautiful writing I have ever read. It is lyrical, romantic, and intricate. Though it can be slow for some, it is a perfect book if you enjoy whimsical writing with interesting characters. Happy reading! Xoxo Stephanie
