I…appreciate the sport of Soccer (futbol). Like seeing people who have the ability to do both foot and eye coordination is a great skill in my opinion. But I certainly don’t have the ability to do so.
This is the last week of soccer and I suppose it’s a great way to get students moving but it’s also a great source of entertainment. Like how the other day we got a whole entire period of watching people fall and miss a kick and it made PE so much more enjoyable. Everyone was really feeling it, of course, no rudeness intended…(or possibly there was)
But there are also times where soccer can be terrifying. As someone who can’t kick even if their life depended on it, I can vouch for this. Playing the role of the goalie is probably the most eccentric role you can play. If you want an excuse to leave class, play goalie, you’ll most likely be aimed in the face and sent to the office.
If you want an excuse to leave for the day, play goalie. It’s the most interesting role you can play on your team. Not only do you get blamed if you can’t block but you also get the ability to be targeted by your fellow peers! Doesn’t that sound lovely!
Overall, soccer is a great sport. It’s impressive how people can enjoy this sport and still be really great at playing.
It just takes skill (that I don’t acquire) to actually play the game. So credits to those who can play the sport, you guys got skill.
Hoping you all enjoy your week!
