![]() Starting from March 1st to March 31st, is the time period of Women’s History Month. As a young girl, I’ve always thought women had all the rights they could have, the power to vote, the power to run for positions in society and so much more. However, through time, I found out that Women don’t have everything men have, young ladies and girls don’t get the same treatment as young men and boys. And it disappointed me the other day when a handful of people had never heard of Women’s History Month, it goes to show that Women don’t get the same needed attention throughout history as men do. So, I’ve decided, this month would be solely dedicated to the Rights of Women and what Feminism means. Not a lot of people understand what being a Women is and the power we hold as well as what Feminism really means and is not about bringing men down. I’d also love to dedicate the following blogs this month to all the young ladies within our Middle School. I hope this month you realize your potential as a Woman and that you have a purpose as one. Can’t wait to see what this month beholds for each and every one of us! -Kirsten G
