Enjoying Their Green Thumbs

Cielo Vista Charter School celebrated its own “Salad Day” after harvesting winter lettuce from the school’s community garden. All 800 K-6th grade students and 28 teachers sampled the tasty greens, a reward for their months of planting and maintaining the garden, which is on site at the Palm Springs school.
