CVC VOLUNTEERS:

ATTENTION ALL CVC FAMILY MEMBERS - PSUSD & CVC ARE REQUIRING NEW PAPERWORK IS COMPLETED BY ALL VOLUNTEERS. ALSO, ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST COMPLETE AN ONLINE “REPORTING TRAINING” - WHICH WILL BE OFFERED FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 3 - FROM 5-8 P.M. IN THE CVC LIBRARY.

Cielo Vista Charter School has instituted a new PSUSD policy for all school volunteers.  If you did not see the paperwork that was sent home in December, please see posted documents here.  This is the school's new volunteer form and process, similar to what CVC requires at the beginning of each school year.  Each parent, guardian, or other active family member should fill out this paperwork ASAP because it can take 1-2 months for clearance. The new policy began January 9th and is currently in effect for all volunteers. EVERY volunteer needs to complete the process for at minimum the "non supervisory" status. This includes completing a 40-minute Mandatory Reporting Training that must be completed online. If you will ever want to chaperone a field trip, you must sign up as a supervisory volunteer and be fingerprinted/cleared through the FBI and DOJ LIVESCAN process.

* Please note, in order to volunteer in your child's classroom at any time, volunteer for Fall Festival, volunteer for Walk-a-thon, etc., you MUST complete the requirements for a "non-supervisory" volunteer.  This replaces the form that ALL CVC Family Members used to complete that indicated you were volunteering less than 4 hours per week.

If you have questions, please ask the CVC office or principals.

Thank you!
