The teachers and staff at Cielo Vista Charter School believe that recognition of the 7 habits practices and academic achievement encourages students to make good choices.
Awards Assemblies are planned for all students each month.
Family members are encouraged to attend awards assemblies. Parents should receive notice from their child’s teacher a few days before an award is presented. Gifts for children receiving awards are not necessary; the award itself is considered recognition enough. In addition, local businesses often donate gift certificates that are distributed to monthly award winners. Teachers may also choose to honor a parent volunteer of the month at these assemblies.
