Cielo Vista Charter School recognizes the role of parents as the primary educators of their children. One goal of CVC is to empower parents as educational partners. Parent participation at the school influences the development of the total school and its components. CVC parents have the opportunity to participate in a variety of meaningful ways at the school site, and their presence on campus and assisting teachers in the classroom is important.
By signing the CVC Parent Contract, families are committed to being involved in the child(ren)’s education. It is suggested that families volunteer at least 10 hours each school year. Volunteer hours can accumulate by helping CVC in a number of ways. The Cielo Vista Charter School Parent Teacher Group (PTG) has many activities throughout the year, and volunteers are always needed.
